An established family office, advised by Compton and Cushman & Wakefield, has let 18,000 sq ft of office accommodation at 25 Settles Street, Whitechapel, London, E1 to The Department for Work & Pensions.
The Government department has taken the self-contained space on the lower ground, ground and 1st floors of the four-storey property on a new ten-year lease at an annual rent of £900,000 (£50 psf).
The property was acquired in 2018 and has since been comprehensively refurbished, taking into account the architecture, location and context of the building, to provide a state-of-the-art facility.
