About Net Yield

Net Yield was established by Andrew Barber as a creative PR and communications agency focused on assisting real estate businesses and property professionals to maximise publicity opportunities both online and within the traditional media.

With the trade and business publications in the UK and abroad now giving greater priority to online publishing, it is important to have communications and publicity strategies that help to publicise real estate assets and business services across all channels in a relevant and timely fashion.

Net Yield works closely with an established and trusted team of property marketing specialists, website hosting and design businesses, graphic designers, management consultants, journalists and freelance writers across the UK and Europe.

Andrew Barber

Andrew has over 30 years' experience of marketing and public relations in the property and technology sectors, having started his career as an office and industrial surveyor in 1987.

In 1989, he joined Vail Williams, where he became an associate partner dealing with industrial and office agency in the Hampshire and M3 areas. Clients included Slough Estates (SEGRO), PSIT/MEPC, Standard Life and Crest Nicholson.

He subsequently became a product marketing, publicity and communications manager for a software and technology supplier in speech technology, returning to the property sector in 2001 where he has worked as a PR consultant in the property sector ever since.

He has great experience advising a wide variety of surveyors and agents, real estate investors, developers, property companies, fund managers, asset managers, management consultants and proptech companies with regard to publicity and media strategies across the UK and European property markets.

In addition to media relations, corporate public relations and communications strategies, Andrew also provides crisis management support, event organisation services, public consultation advice, new business and promotional advice.


International partnership

Net Yield has a strategic partnership with Targa Communications GmbH, a specialist marketing and PR company, focused on the commercial real estate and finance markets in Germany.

The two businesses work together to help clients in Germany and the UK who wish to communicate with the international markets regarding real estate projects and transactions in Germany.

In addition to an established network of freelance writers, consultants and  designers, Net Yield has a core team to support its clients and partners.

Steve Usher - Senior Media Relations Consultant

Steve has over 25 years’ experience working on national newspapers including the Sunday Express, Daily Express, Daily Star, Daily Mirror, and The Sun. He’s also worked in digital and online publishing for Bloomberg and BNP Paribas Real Estate creating and editing financial and property business documents.

He’s a former lecturer in journalism at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey and was Associate Lecturer in Publishing at Southampton Solent University.

Luc Simmons - Social Media Consultant

Luc is a social media marketing expert, specialising in lead generation using Facebook and other online platforms.

Luc has wide experience of creating and executing cost-efficient, targeted digital marketing and brand-awareness campaigns for a range of businesses across different sectors, helping them to engage with customers and boost new business enquiries.

Bruce Rose - Financial Controller

Bruce has worked within the finance and property sectors for many years having started his career with a high street bank in Scotland in 1983. He left banking to further his career in finance having obtained his Membership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.

He has worked with many SME's in the property sector and has a wide experience of running teams within various organisations.

Bruce oversees contracts and the smooth running of the accounts department.
